Dennis Michael Davis

Dennis M. Davis, 51, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 15th, 2009, after a long illness.Born in Toledo on December 22nd, 1957, Dennis served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S VOGE as a boiler operator. After the service he returned to Toledo where he worked many years as a cement mason. Dennis was a talented self-taught artist and musician. He loved to draw and play drums, guitar, and harmonica. Dennis is survived by his mother, Charlotte Davis; son, Stephen (Brittany) Davis; granddaughter, Kaidence Axtell; stepdaughter, Ashley Cappelletty; brother, Thomas (Michelle) Davis; sister, Teri (Bret) Crawford; nephews, Levi (Stefanie) Herzig and Bret Crawford II; nieces Kymber Crawford, Sarah Davis and Samantha Davis; longtime friend, John Domanowski; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in the music community. Graveside services will be held at Forest Cemetery, 1704 Mulberry St., Toledo, Ohio on March 27, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to the Dennis Davis Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank branch.
