Deborah “Debi” Darlene Wilkes-Wyatt, of Millbury, went to her heavenly home on Sunday July 4th at 2:20pm, while surrounded by her closest loved ones. She was 66. Debi was a faithful woman who loved the lord, her family, many friends, and her community. She served at Foundation Stone Church, and her Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She spent a great deal of time mentoring people to help them find their own faith and guiding them to their path of Christianity. She also spent a lot of time putting together donations of items for those in need. Debi retired in 2016 from St. Vincent’s Medical Center after 22 years of employment. She loved the outdoors and could always be found planting & talking to her flowers. She also loved wildlife and nurtured “God’s Creatures” as they came to her yard knowing they would be well cared for. They would literally come to her front door looking and waiting for her. She enjoyed riding bikes with her daughter Sarah and daughter in law Holly. Debi was always on the go looking for “treasures” at garage sales and second hand stores. She also enjoyed cooking (“Fried Tacos” were a family favorite) and baking cookies. She was always up for any good movie that delivered a powerful Christian message. Let an upbeat country song come on the radio and she would belt out the words with no restraint, even if she was making up her own. Debi was preceded in death by her father (Charles), mother (Iva) and brother (John). She is survived by her four children Jason, Joshua, Sarah (Holly), and Jessie (Megan); Sisters Gloria(Joe) and Gladys; Brothers Robert, Rupert, Larry (Marlene), and Charles (Debbie); her many grandchildren (who lovingly called her “Yummy”), Seth, Charlie, Alexandria (Nate), Noah, Tyler, Samantha, Joseph, Elijah, Fiona, and Jack; Two great-grandchildren Jayden and Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she all adored.
