Debra Lorraine Debbie (Bowman) Newman

Debra “Debbie” Lorraine (Bowman) Newman, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 7, 2018. Debbie was born in Oakland, Maryland, on January 24, 1954, to Edward “Buck” and Joanne (Wright) Bowman. Debbie was employed many years with the Toledo Museum of Art until her retirement. Her passions were Harley-Davidson motorcycles, listening to Bob Seger, and spending time with her kitties. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Bowman; brother, James Bowman; and sister, Kathleen Bowman. She is survived by her mother, Joanne and stepfather, Timothy Coakley; sister, Julie Bair; daughters, April (Warren) Rinehart and Lisa (Michael) Beining; and grandchildren, Tristan, Harley Paige, Addison, Amelia, and Brooklyn. As per her wishes, there will be a private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery with immediate family in attendance this spring. The family would like to give a special thanks to her neighbors and Toledo Firefighters for their efforts.
