Debra Mink

Debra (Debbie) Mink, 68, was born on December 16th, 1956, in Monroe, MI to John and Beatrice Kovacevic. Debra passed away on December 22nd, 2024, at Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family. Debra graduated from Monroe High School in 1974. She worked as a CNA for many years all through Ohio. She also owned and operated a CNA school in Toledo, Ohio. Debra married Rick Bayles in 2016, until he passed away in 2017.

Debra is survived by her two children, Mishiya (Steve) Doran and David Mink (significant other, Diane Wetzel); 10 grandkids; 15 great grandkids; siblings, Paula (Jay) Powell and Denise (James) Hranoha; as well as many friends that she called family.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents, John and Beatrice Kovacevic; and brother, John Kovacevic, Jr.

Debra loved antiques and refinishing furniture. She loved her children and especially her grandchildren. This lady would move mountains for her family. She had the biggest heart to anyone and when you met her for the first time, she made you feel like she had known you for years.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at 400 Jones Ave. in Monroe, MI at the local VFW hall on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
