Debra Jean Flick

On April 9, 2018 the heavens gained an angel and the world lost a truly great soul. Debra Jean Flick age 59, passed peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. She will be so greatly missed. Debra was born June 7, 1958 to Willard G. Ice and Jean Kapela in Jacksonville, Florida. In her life Deb was a devoted wife, loving mother, and the best Nana. She had a serious love for all animals and nature. There was a special place in her heart for Rottweilers and she had a talent for training them. Although she was tiny, even the largest dogs respected her authority. She loved gardening and spent many hours outside keeping the yard and pond beautiful for the family to enjoy. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Willard G. Ice, her mother, Jean Kapela, and her step brother David Phillis. She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved husband Patrick Flick, children Tiffany Sliwinski, Crystal Sliwinski, Brandon (Katie) Main, and Ciara Willamson, her football team of 11 grandsons, 1 great grandson, and 1 granddaughter, with one more on the way. She also leaves behind her step father Randolph Cap Kapela, brothers James Steinfort, Gary Ice, Todd (Dee) Ice, sisters Jackie (Bob) Warns, Barbara Cousino, and Cathy Helle along with many nieces and nephews.
