Deborah “Debbie” Jean (Aldrich) Clarke, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 17, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl and Barbara (Jones) Aldrich.
Debbie’s interest and hobbies included traveling to Pikes Peak in Colorado and several trips to Israel. Her passion was to start her own ministry called Heaven Whispers which included the love to bake and crotchet beautiful scarves she would distribute to those in need.
Debbie didn’t just give gifts, she created magical lasting memories from her heart. Whether it was ice cream at Friendly’s or Baskin Robbins, a trip to Crosby Gardens or a park, going to the Children’s Winter Wonderland, or taking you to your first movie, she would make this time special for just you to remember forever.
She is survived by the greatest gifts in her life, her son, David Clarke; grandchildren, Clarissa and David Jr, Clarke; beloved Topaz the Cat; sisters, Libbie (Russ) Mossing, Faith (John) Lumbrezer, Christi (James) Grandowicz; brothers, Dave (Kathy) Aldrich, Steve (Vicky) Aldrich; aunts, Sandy Koepke, Sheila Aldrich; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and has accepted Jesus as her savior and is forever rejoicing in Heaven with our Lord.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the wonderful caregivers at St. Anne’s Hospital and Hospice. We appreciate their kindness and dedication to the comfort and well being of their patients.
