Debora "Debbie" Fugert

Debora “Debbie” Fugert (Laub, Knecht) of Toledo Ohio, Woodward class of 1976, passed away at home in the comfort of friends and family on August 25th 2021 at the age of 62. Born December 29, 1958, the daughter of Carl and Joyce Knecht and the oldest of five sisters. She lived an adventurous life; traveling the world as the Army wife of her first husband, Ronald Laub. She explored Europe with her second husband, Claus Fugert, before settling back home in Toledo, Ohio where she started her beloved career at the YMCA. Here, she also met the other two loves of her life, James Bramblett and Roland Lewis. She loved to bake. She also loved her kids; volunteering for and attending all school events. She was an animal lover and cherished quality time with friends and family. She was loved and remains in the hearts of: Her mother, Joyce Knecht; sisters, Karen Ziesler and Angie Knecht; her children, Jada Bickham, Carl Laub, Ozzy Bramblett, Roland Lewis III and adoptive son, Ronell Marshall; her grandchildren, Dustin, Zayla, Zachery, Piper, Sydney, and Alayah, plus many others. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Knecht; sisters, Carla Barker and June Averett; and grandchild, Levi.
