Debi Davis

Debra "Debi" Lynn (Tiglas) Davis, age 68, passed away on August 5, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family. She was born June 15, 1955, in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Francis and Betty (Hill) Tiglas.

Debi grew up in Newberry, MI and attended Tahquamenon schools, graduating in 1973. She devoted her time and love to caring for her family, as a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated housekeeper.

When Debi wasn’t tending to the family through her love of cooking, she enjoyed the outdoors through horseback riding, camping, and fishing. Her pets also brought much joy to her life. She also was a thrifty person, searching for yard sales on the weekends!

Cherishing Debi's memory are her husband of 36 years, George Davis; children, Hope Davis, Anne Bradford and Aiyana Cooper; mother, Betty Tiglas and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Fran Tiglas; brothers, Mike Lutz, Steve Tiglas and Greg Tiglas; and her in-laws, Bob and Rachael Davis.

A Celebration of Debi’s Life will be held at Crosswinds Assembly of God, 31765 West Road, New Boston, MI 48164 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Debi’s name to your local animal shelter.
