Dawn M. Simons

Dawn M. Simons passed away at UTMC on May 18th, 2023, at the age of 53.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard, her brother, Mark, and best friend, Sharon. Dawn is survived by husband, Gary; her mother, Linda; brothers, Carl, David, Samuel; her sister, Jackie; her son, Joshua (Heather); her daughter, Felicia (Loren); her stepsons, Anthony (Teresa), and George Jr.; and her grandkids, Anthony Jr., and Laelia.

Dawn was born in Oregon, Ohio. She moved to Toledo, Ohio at the age of 9, where she did the majority of her schooling. Dawn was always the life of the party, a joy to be around at any occasion. Dawn enjoyed her sobriety, The San Francisco 49ers, elephants, Christmas, being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She was the rock that kept her family on even ground. Dawn was loved deeply, and will be missed, by her family and close friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family on June 3rd. Please contact Joshua Garcia or Felicia Willis for more information.
