Dawn K. Nayfack

Dawn Kathryn (McClung) Nayfack, 53, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 21st, 2026.

Born near Seattle, Washington, Dawn eventually made her home in Toledo, Ohio, where she and her husband, Dan, built a life together and raised their two children, Stephanie and Tyler.

Dawn was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took pride in her work and the friendships she formed along the way. She worked faithfully at Meijer for nearly 30 years. Dawn made lasting connections with friends and coworkers, many of whom remember her fondly and cherish the memories they shared.

Outside of work, Dawn had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed settling in with a good crime show. These simple pleasures, along with the friendships she cultivated over the years, were meaningful parts of her life.

Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Nayfack. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Chris) McPhillips; son, Tyler Nayfack; grandson, Ryan McPhillips; parents, Cheryl and Jim Malone; brother, Larry (Dawn) Hand; and many friends.
