Dawn M. Flores-Miller

Dawn Marie Flores-Miller, 58, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 27, 2023, in Toledo. Dawn was born on July 26, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, to Dale Strauss and the late Janice Strauss. She was a loving wife to Donald Miller and a devoted mother to Steve Hetz, John Hetz Jr., Rosemary (Mike) George, Justin Miller, and Dawnie Miller. Dawn was also a cherished grandmother to Madison, John Paul III, Harper, Adam Jr., Laynie, Danielle, Talia, and Ruby.

Dawn was described by her family as a giving person, a music and dog lover, and a loving grandmother/"Mammy" to her grandkids. She was a mother figure to her younger siblings and treated her children's friends as if they were her own. Dawn's caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, and she will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

Dawn attended Waite High School and later pursued her education at Stautzenberger College as a medical assistant.

In addition to her father, Dale (Amy) Strauss, and husband Donald Miller, Dawn is survived by her siblings: Idalgo Flores, Natasha (Ken) Stephens, Robert Strauss, Felicity (Katelyn) Marshall, Anna (Rodney) Miller, James (Brittney) Strauss, Joel (Erika) Strauss, and Desiree Flores. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Strauss, and sister, Christina Strauss.

Dawn's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Dawn's life will be held at a later date to honor her memory and the impact she had on the lives of those around her.
