David Michael Walter

David Michael Walter, 67, of Point Place, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on September 9, 2023. He was born January 14, 1956, in Toledo, OH to Harlan Richard and June Walter.

David was a 1974 graduate of Whitmer High School. He owned Salv-Pro Enterprises for decades, closing the business in 2022. David was an avid OSU fan, enjoyed boating and was a proud member of River View Yacht Club, where he received the Commodores Award in 2016.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deborah; sons, Michael (Gloria) Walter and Kevin Walter; grandson, Braxton David Walter; brother, William Walter and Thomas (Teri) Walter, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jeffery Walter, and nephew, Shea Walter.

Per David’s Request, the services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverview Yacht Club on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 12 – 4 PM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their devoted care of David during his final days.
