David Wahlgren

David Michael Wahlgren, age 65, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in his home surrounded by his family. Dave was the proud owner of Dave Wahlgren Service, in South Toledo, which was in operation for 39 years. He often said he never worked a day in his life because he loved what he did. He was able to complete his retirement dream of building a pole barn and enjoyed making it his own. Dave will be remembered as a loyal brother, hardworking husband, loving father, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judith (Spychalski) Wahlgren; two sons, Chris (Amy) Wahlgren, of Lima, Ohio, Matt (Melanie) Wahlgren, of Fremont; five grandchildren; sisters, Anne Wahlgren, of Fruitland Park, Florida, and Robin (Wahlgren) Jackson, of Toledo.

A celebration of life service will be held at Grace Bible Fellowship, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 652 S. Berkey Southern Rd, Swanton. The service will begin at 10:00AM. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and condolences at Dave and Judy's home, immediately following the service.
