David A. Suchala

Our brother, Dave, now rests in peace. He was a fighter his entire life. He was in the military...U.S. Army during war time, fighting the PTSD demons that haunted him through his adult life and still fought hard at the very end.

He was a kind and gentle man born July 30, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to our mother, Bernella. Dave loved westerns, golf, bike riding, and working hard. He spent years as a Machine Repairman, could fix anything and even vinyl sided our home practically on his own. That man could hit a golf club! I saw him drive 350 yards in his younger years and qualify for a Publinx tournament.

Dave passed on September 14, 2026 at BlueCreek Healthcare where he was a honored resident and received Hospice of Northwest Ohio end of life care.

He is survived by his sisters, Deborah Evans-Clark, Denise Best and his brother, Donald Evans. A private memorial will be held in his honor with family members.
