David Ernest Stickles, age 56, was born April 19, 1963 and passed away February 12, 2021. He attended Newbury, Jones, MacComber and Libbey schools. David worked for Buck Brothers Asphalt for 11 years. David loved spending time with his family and friends, playing his guitar, cooking out, and drinking Milwaukee’s best ice with his best buddy Marty Buck. He was also an avid Lions fan. He was a very talented guitarist. He influenced Kevin Kekes, Jeff Coleman and many others, and also Rick Zuniga who gave him his loving dog, Autumn, who spent all her time waiting for him to come home from work. David is survived by his mother Carole Stickles; sister Deborah Vogelbacher (Don); sons Jonathon (Mary), Larry (Nadine) and Robert; grandchildren Emmaleigh, Jonathon Jr, Javion, Alysha, Luca, Mariah and Kaleo; nephews Mike Nova, who he considered more as a brother (Amanda), and Ryan Pawlak (Amanda); niece Tabitha Mcnelley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father Ernest Stickles, grandparents Charles & Thesie Grimm, and uncle Larry Grimm. You will be missed more than you know. Play that Gibsonles Paul with the Angels and crank those Marshall’s. “You are a shooting star”. A celebration of life will be held at the Recovery Room, 2620 Airport Hwy.
