David L. Reynolds

David Lawrence Reynolds, 66, of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, May 10, 2013, after a long fight against pulmonary fibrosis.Dave was born in Toledo on September 18, 1946 to Russell and Ruby (Smith) Reynolds. He was a 1964 graduate of Rogers High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1967. On June 1, 1968, Dave literally married the girl next door, Patricia Lisenbee. His entire career centered around cars. He worked as a mechanic, a salesman, and eventually as a service manager at many local auto dealerships, retiring in 2007.Dave was preceded in death by both parents. Surviving are is his wife, Pat; children, Russell Reynolds II and Stacey (Jeff) Altman; grandchildren, Brittany Reynolds, Shawn, Taylor, Robert and Darin Altman; Papa loves you Infinity and Beyond; mother-in-law, Frances Lisenbee; brothers, Tom (Donna) Reynolds and Michael Reynolds; sisters, Sandy (David) Giest, Debbie (Jerry) McQuillin and Julie Reynolds.A celebration of Daves life will take place on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Whitehouse American Legion Post 384 beginning at 2 PM. A memorial service will follow a greeting hour, at which time all will be invited to share their favorite Dave stories. At Daves insistence, attire is to be casual and comfortable.
