David A. Parks

David Allen Parks, age 64, of Toledo, Ohio, was called home on the Lord’s Special Easter Sunday, April 20,2025.

He was born on March 1, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Donald Parks Sr. and Virginia Guyton Parks Evearitt.

He attended Woodward High School. Shortly after, he moved to Wisconsin, where he worked for the Kohler Company. He moved back home and worked for Guttermaker; next, David moved on to construction, roofing, and painting, before his retirement in 2022, for health-related issues.

He enjoyed working with his hands and woodworking; making wishing wells and large yard swings, fishing, hunting (especially with his friend Earl), and he was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan! He was a loving, gentle soul with eyes that shined so beautifully blue.

David was preceded in death by his parents; baby brother, Donald W. Parks Jr.; and his niece, Jerrica D, Papenfuse. He never married or had children, but raised his fair share of kids. David is survived by sisters, Donna R. Evearitt and Christine L. Papenfuse (Rance); many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, including special friends, Donna Coleman and Diana Snyder. He will be missed by all.
