David Victor Newman, Jr.

David Victor Newman, age 71, passed away July 3, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Care Center. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on August 19, 1950, to Lucille Large and David Newman. David graduated from Libbey High School. Following high school, he went on to obtain training in law enforcement which he used in his position as a security guard at St. Vincent Hospital. David worked at DeVilbiss for 18 years. He then went on to trade school for truck driving. David loved to travel and go camping. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing. He is survived by his former wife, Delores Newman; brother, Andy Newman; sister, Sandy Matney; daughter, Stacey Newman; many grandkids, David, Kayla, and Jaiden; and great-grandkids, Jordan, Taylor, Mila, Skylar, and Zayan. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pat Mills, Nancy Forrey, and Kathy Newman; and brother, Gary Newman.
