David Mittman

David “Cha-Cha Dave” Mittman, age 79, passed away on April 30, 2013. “Cha-Cha Dave” graduated from Farrell, PA high school in 1951. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard active duty from 1952-1956 and the Coast Guard reserve for several decades until military retirement. David served in a variety of roles as a City of Toledo accountant for almost 25 years until retirement. He loved trips to the Casino where he played his favorite game, Blackjack. David was a Mason and was also beloved as a Cha-Cha dancer. David volunteered often at the Stranahan Theatre. The family extends deepest thanks to the caregivers at Heartland Perrysburg and especially to dear friends Carol Crowley and her daughters, Colleen and Kathy. David is also survived by his sons, Michael (Greta) Mittman and Jason Mittman; granddaughters, Rachel and Molly Mittman; nephew, Scott Mittman and niece, Julie Glazer. A memorial service will be held on June 1st at 2pm at Browing Masonic Community Building, in the Harmony Hall in Waterville. Online condolences may be shared at toledocremation.com
