David J. Loomis

David Joseph Loomis, 81, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinsons disease. David was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Anson and Margaret Loomis. He was a veteran, serving the United States Army from 1961 through 1964.

David is survived by his wife, Pamela Loomis; daughter, Mary Margaret (David) Friend; son, John Scott (Jaqueline) Loomis; son, John Paul (Jillian) Wagner; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Anson and William Loomis; sister, Nancy Loomis; and sons, David “Elmo” and Andrew Loomis.

David chose cremation by the Cremation Society of Toledo. There will be no visitation.
