David D. Jordan

David Daryl Jordan, age 65 entered into the loving arms of Jesus on November 30th, 2024.

On August 14, 1993 Dave married the love of his life, Candy, who survives him. He was a loving father to his surviving children, Tera Stevens (Tim), John (Angie) Jordan, Gregg (Elizabeth) Yockey, Amanda (Teran) Elenbaas, and Aaron Jordan (Jessica). He loved all 14 of his grandchildren, JJ, Sarah, Isaac, Trinity, Clayton, Lyla, Leah, Penny, Hank, Callie, Gracie, Weston, Finn, and Willow. Dave is also survived by his sister, Nan (Tim) Wilson and brother, Jerry Jordan, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Manda Jordan, as well as his older sister, Barbara Jordan.

Dave served proudly as a Damage Control man in the United States Coast Guard. After his time in the military, Dave fought bravely against the many challenges life brought him. He leaves a legacy of perseverance and faith for those that love and miss him so much.

Dave loved God with his whole heart and enjoyed discussing different stories of the Bible with those closest to him. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and bird watching. He loved building hobby bird houses and doll houses.

A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 11:00 am at Bethel Assembly of God in Perrysburg, OH. There will be a private family graveside service following.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Detroit Chapter Chief Petty Officer's Association, an organization that proudly serves the Coast Guard and other military active duty and reserve members, Veterans, and their families in the community.
