David W. Hilborn

David W. Hilborn, or Mr Hilborn, as he was known to so many children, teachers, and staff of Waterville Primary School, passed away Wednesday, March, 22, 2017, at the age of 72.” David was born in Kirtland, Ohio to Howard and Dorothy Hilborn.” He attended Hiram College and received his Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University.” After teaching for several years, David accepted the position of Principal at Waterville Primary School in 1972 which he held until his retirement in 1996.” He continued his service with the Anthony Wayne School system in multiple roles until 2006. David is remembered by”his wife, Jamie; his brother, Roger (Vernelle); his children, Matthew (Lisa), Catherine Koerner (Jon), and Robert (Jill) Schoenlein; his grandson, Evan, and Evans mother Julie.” David will also be forever remembered by his in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.” His family would also like to thank all the people who have supported us in so many different ways on this journey.
