David Michael Fusting was born on August 28, 1948, the son of John Edward Fusting 1922-1997 and Elaine Vogel Fusting (1925-2012) in Detroit, MI. He died September 10, 2018 in Toledo, OH. David grew up in the Detroit area and was a graduate of Edwin C. Denby High School. After following a varied career path, he finished his working life and was best known as the face of the Pottery Guy/Shed One in Detroits Eastern Market. David is survived by a brother, John ( Jeannie) Fusting of Peoria, AZ; niece, Kimberly (James) Toledo of Leander, TX; nephew, Jeffrey Fusting of Los Angeles, CA; several grand nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins from the Vogel side of his family. He is also survived by good friends, David Bingham, Toledo, OH; Wayne North, Toledo, OH; Suzanne Nye formerly of Indian Village, Detroit, Mi, and Amy Moore of Ann Arbor, Mi. Per Davids wishes there will be no service.
