David R. Frank

David Randall Frank, 59, of Waterville, OH passed away peacefully on March 31, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born on January 28, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio & attended Harvard Elementary School, Byrnedale Jr. High & Bowsher High School, where he played football all four years. Dave continued his education at Terra Technical College in Fremont, where he graduated with his Associate Degree in 1982 & then The University of Toledo where he received his MBA. In 1986 while working at Bock Engineered Products, Dave met Robin. They were married on Christmas Eve 1987 in Laguna Beach, CA. Dave & Robin welcomed two sons Tyler Jacob, March 1990 and Trevor Andrew, August 1991 that he was very proud of and loved so much. In 1991, Dave joined Amcraft Inc., the family-owned business, with Marcia & Fritz to grow the company & product lines. Dave became President & Owner of Amcraft in 1994, successfully expanding the business and along with Robin, continued to actively work & oversee the daily operations. Dave coached his boys in soccer when they were young & happily traveled thousands of miles, watching them play as they grew older. Family was the most important thing to Dave. There were so many fun vacations & he loved taking the jet boat out on the river, wakeboarding with the boys. Dave loved his dogs and in particular, their Mastiffs. He would walk them down the block and loved the many comments others would give him about their size. Dave is survived by his wife, Robin (Johnson); sons, Tyler (See-Yin) and Trevor; sister, Sharon (Jamie) Black; sister-in-law, Pam Crippen; nephew, Jeremy (Megan) Black, and many friends and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Beier Hebbeler & her husband, Fred (Fritz) Hebbeler; father, William A. Frank & his wife, Nancy Frank; and mother & father-in-law, Margaret & Edward Johnson. The family wishes to thank the staff at Toledo Hospital, especially the 6 gen acute floor nurses & aides who always treated Dave as a friend. There will be no funeral service, per Dave’s wishes.
