David A. De Selms

David was the first born child of Earl "Bud" H. De Selms and Patricia I. De Selms in Wichita, Kansas. Growing up he enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing with his dad, sons, nephews, and brother-in-law.

David graduated from Start High School in 1975 and joined the Navy. After the Navy David got married and started his family, Jessica, Amber, John and David II. David was always the life of the party especially if karaoke was involved!

Preceded David in death were his grandparents; parents, Bud and Pat, who we are sure welcomed him into Heaven.

David leaves behind his loving wife who was always by his side, Theresa (Martens) De Selms, she was his best friend; daughters, Jessica (Jeremy) Streeter and Amber De Selms; sons, John (Silvia) De Selms and David (Jessica) De Selms; 16 grandchildren; sisters , Deborah (Noe) Garza, Deanna (Robert) Baldwin, Darla (Mark) Fry; brother, Donald (Christina) De Selms; goddaughter, Courtany Pawlowski; 19 nieces and nephews, multiple great nieces and nephews; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Ohio Living hospice's nurses who helped take care of David during his final days.

A service memorial service will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Strawberry Acres Park, 950 S. McCord Rd, Holland, Ohio from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
