David A Czlapinski

David A. Czlapinski, 61, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on August 11, 2019 at SKLD Perrysburg surrounded by his family. He was the youngest son of Clemens and Elaine (Wojciechowski) Czlapinski, born on January 16, 1958 in Toledo. David loved being in the wilderness, spending time fishing, hunting, and camping, and he also enjoyed cooking, baking, and telling stories. He was a proud Veteran, having served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and later joining several American Legion and VFW Posts. In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his brother, Casmier “Bob” Pinski. He is survived by his daughters, Heather Czlapinski, April (Chris) Baker, and Jenna (Andy) Czlapinski; grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Chastity, and Connor; siblings, Clemens “Clem” (Darlene) Pinski, Jr., and Sue (Jim) Stanfill; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service for David will be held at a later date. His family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Hospice of Northwest Ohio and SKLD Perrysburg for their compassion and care for David.
