David G. Carl

David G, Carl, 77, of Sylvania Ohio, peacefully passed away on November 11, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. He was born “on February 5, 1940 to Christine (Leedy) and George Carl in Fremont Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Carl; daughters, Aimee (Jeff) Hench and Sarah (Casey) Nowicki; grandsons, David and Daniel Hench and Christopher and Andrew Nowicki; sister Martha (Earl) Thompson. Dave was a long time member of Olivet Lutheran Church. “He enjoyed many years of boating and fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. There will be a visitation at”Olivet Lutheran Church, 5840 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio, on Friday, November 17, 2017,”between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Promedica Hospice, or Olivet Lutheran Church.
