David L. Burd

David L. Burd of Fremont, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on May 25, 1952, son of the late Robert E. Burd and Helen (Scherger) Burd. He graduated from Bettsville High School in 1970 and was a member of the County Honor Society and a National Machinery award winner. He was a puzzle enthusiast and loved animals. David lived and worked in California as a proofreader before moving back to Ohio.

David is survived by brothers, Robert E. (Nancy) Burd and Gerald L. (Patricia) Burd; sisters-in-law, Julie Burd and Irene Burd, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Burd and Steven Burd.
