Darryl K Fingers was born on May 24, 1956 to Barbara J. and Monroe Fingers in Toledo, Ohio. Darryl attended Macomber Vocational School and the University of Toledo. One of Darryl’s proudest achievements was becoming a power plant technician for National Flight Services. Darryl was preceded in death by his wonderful mother whom he adored Barbara J. Huntley, father Monroe Fingers, great aunt Rebecca Louise Hudson, and dear friend Joshua Heverly. He leaves behind his beloved step father Frederick D. Huntley Jr, sister Lori Anderson, and brother Frederick D. Huntley III. Left behind to cherish Darryl’s legacy are the seven children that lovingly called him “uncle dad.” Leslie (Bailey) Young, Frederick D. Huntley IV, Aishara Huntley, Dailen Huntley, Mahala’leel Anderson, and Heiress Huntley, affectionately known as “Big head baby.” Darryl poured every ounce of love and every good quality that he had Inside of him into his babies, his nieces and nephews. Never one to spoil us with monetary gifts he instead chose to spoil us with things far more valuable his love, attention, and his guidance. For those sacrifices he will never be forgotten and will be loved and endlessly. Darryl was also a lover of random trivia, a fisherman, a true chopped champion before the show and a bodybuilder. Extremely proud of his bodybuilding accomplishments he will tell anyone that would listen to him that he wants had a 23” neck. The sum of the Darryl’s life was his family, love, education and laughter the made your cheeks hurt. To Darryl: With all of the love that we have in our hearts we love you and miss you dearly. Thank you for everything. Other families that were also close to Darryl’s heart were the Heverly, Carter, and Stepp family. He loved you and so do we.
