Danny Lynn Roose

Danny Lynn Roose, A.K.A. Crispy T. Critter of Bowling Green and formerly of North Baltimore, Ohio died May 13, 2023 at the age of 68 from natural causes. He was married and divorced 3 times, Cheri (Bumpus) Roose, Martha (Wittenmeyer) Roose (Lindquist), Rebecca (Grilliot) Roose (Casdorph). Martha and Danny had 3 children, Rachel (deceased), Jacob, and Daniel (deceased).

Danny was preceded in death by his 2 children; his parents, William and Patricia (Ferguson) Roose; and 2 siblings, Brian E.(Moose) Roose and Dona (Donut) (Roose-Hunt) Curtis.

Surviving are brother, Mike Roose of Findlay, sisters, Cindy (Roose) Boyer and Ronald of Findlay, Cheryl Sue (Micky) (Roose, Bowen, Priest) Hosler of North Baltimore, Lisa Francisco (Roose) of Bowling Green, Christine Roose of Florida. Another brother, Robert Roose of Findlay.

His only living child, Jacob Roose and wife, Kirsten and grandchildren, Jameson of North Baltimore and Carisma of Arizona.

Dan graduated in 1972 from North Baltimore high school. He spent many years working at SMC aluminum foundry. His last years where spent working at Pinnacle Plastics of Bowling Green and he retired from there.

Danny enjoyed fishing by himself and with the boys. Hunting with Jason (Rastus), Jacob his son, Brian (Hutch) and Denny (Duke), Tim (Bart) and sometimes Eddy Francisco.

He had special years of his life as Papa Smurf to Carisma and his grandson, Jameson along with Jacob and Kirsten. He was his happiest in those days.

In his years he enjoyed writing stories and doing them in calligraphy. He enjoyed the people in his life that spent time with him; Joseph, Brian, Denny, Matt, Garrett, Rachel, Luke, and Harvest. The old guys John Curtis and brother, Mike and Chris Weaver spent the holidays sitting and talking together. The great nephews, Preston, Brian, Timmy, and Karson. And great nieces, Lydia and Addison would sit and enjoy movies with him. He truly enjoyed that in his last months. He will be loved and remembered by us all, and missed very much.
