Danny passed away on Thursday morning, October 29, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Danny was born on June 30, 1959, to Gerald and Loretta (Butler) Tenney, of Sylvania, Ohio. Danny grew up in Sylvania, and he later went on to work for Toledo Metal Spinning, for 30 plus years. Danny loved getting together with his family, cooking, and fishing. He loved to garden and loved his dog, Sadie. He was an avid watcher of NASCAR races, and most importantly loved his sons and grandchildren. He really enjoyed his son, Christopher’s cooking, especially his homemade sour dough bread. He had an ornery side to him but would do anything for anyone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Sandy and Mary, and brother, Bill. He is survived by his son, Christopher and Shaun (Kelly); 2 grandchildren; siblings, John (Angie), Gerald and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later around his birthday.
