Daniel W. Bockbrader

Engine builder, Daniel Bockbrader passed away suddenly at the age of 58, in a car accident on Monday, February 10, 2025. Dan was a simple blue collar hard working man. He had a passion for anything with a motor & especially loved street racing. At any given time he could be found in the shop turning wrenches. He was a true blue gear head. Dan was a stand out friend with high character, often helping those in need & expected nothing in return.

Surviving Dan is his mother Margaret J Bockbrader (Lang), his brother David D Bockbrader and his five children Dusty L Bockbrader, Deborah J Parrot (Bockbrader), Dana M Bockbrader and Katherine Bockbrader, Danielle M Doyle (Bockbrader) & Nathan Doyle, Diane E Jennings (Bockbrader) & Allen Jennings, adopted son Tyler Bowman, his 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Jill F Bockbrader (Thaxton)(28) and his father, Douglas H Bockbrader(62).

A commemoration will be held Sunday March 2, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in New Rochester at 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm.

Dan’s ashes will be buried with his father in the privacy of his immediate family.
