Daniel C Beck

BECK Daniel C. “Danny, DB” age 63, of Toledo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends, Wednesday, August 25th, 2010, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born January 29, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. He spent his childhood in Temperance, Michigan before moving back to Toledo. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Harriet (Keirns). Danny was a Crew Leader for the City of Toledo Forestry Division for 24 years before retiring in 2009. Prior to working for the city he worked 17 years as a Foreman for Davey Tree. He took great pride in his work and was well respected by his co-workers. He never asked them to do a job he wasnt willing to do himself. He was the “Best of the Best.” Danny loved to spend his free time landscaping his yard. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Especially his grandbabies, who loved and always looked forward to spending time with their Papa and his “Dum Dum” suckers. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Berneice Beck, and brother Arnold Beck. He is survived by his loving wife, Harriet (Keirns) Beck; daughters, Amber B. Beck and Danielle (Dan) Nonnenmacher; son, Brandon (Amber L.) Beck; grandchildren, Izayah, Devin, Arianna, Kiera, Cheyenne, Brayden, and Aubrey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Oak Bend Church (11275 Eckel Junction Rd., Perrysburg OH 43551) at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care and compassion, especially his niece, Kathie.
