Dale Raymond Rizor age 55, of Toledo passed away May 7, 2012, as the result from a house fire. Dale was a 32 year experienced Welder and Fabricator. He was best known by everyone for his talent in automobile Body Repair. He was born in Lucas County on July 27, 1956, the son of Everett and Mary (Schwab) Rizor. He graduated from Whitmer High in 1975. Dale enjoyed painting cars and turning junkers into beautiful machinery. He also made indestructible incense burners such as house, pot belly stoves and churches. Dale also loved going to Norwalk and Milan Drag races. As a child Dales chore was to take the garbage out to the road and he did, holding a can in each hand riding a unicycle. Dale grew up at the home on 1812 Welker Ave built in 1948 by his father Everett Joseph Rizor. The address would not be attained by this home until 1955. A home to 12 children. An undelivered letter to WRQN 93.5 requested the song “Lonely People” by America. This is for all the lonely people thinking that life has passed them by, dont give up until you drink from the silver cup and ride that highway in the sky. Dale is survived by brothers, James (Barbara) Rizor of Toledo, Charles (Kathy) Rizor of Jonesboro AR; sisters, Elaine Lands of Findlay, OH; Susan (Louis) Leasor Of Waterville, OH; Marilyn Gunn of Findlay OH; Linda (Vaughn) Wurns of Wauseon, OH; Phyllis (Keven) Bonner of Jonesboro AR; sister-in-laws, Paula Rizor of Walbridge, OH, Darlene (Rizor) Dailey of Toledo.Preceded in death by His father Everett J. Rizor, mother Mary A. (Schwab) Rizor;Brothers, Robert Eugene, David Lee, Dennis Glenn, Richard Joseph; sisters Mary Margaret (Rizor) Johnston; Nephews Harry L. Lutz , Nicholas T Gunn, Emilio L. Rodriguez; Nieces, Angelique (Rizor) Lesley, Grace Ann Lutz; brother-in-law Lewis C. Lands: Aunt, Marcella (Schwab) Smith. Saturday May 26th 2012 there will be a 10:00 am grave side service at the Calvary Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio with Father Patrick Rohen US Army (retired) officiating. Memorial Service at 1:00 pm followed by a luncheon at the Delta Eagles in Delta, Ohio with Donna Stutzman officiating.
