Craig L. Pym

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Craig L. Pym, 65, of Oregon, OH, unexpectedly in his home on February 3rd,2026. He was born on December 12, 1960 in Toledo, OH to Bonnie B. (Wensinger) Pym and L. Byron Pym.

Craig was a 1980 Graduate of Roy C. Start High School where he enjoyed choir and musical productions. Craig worked at Foodtown and eventually moved to Chicago, IL where he worked at Recycled Paper Greetings as well as Dominick’s Grocery Store. After living in Chicago for 23 years, he returned to the Toledo area to reside.

Craig was a loving Christian, and although quiet, was a passionate man.

Craig enjoyed collecting classic train sets, and diecast metal cars. He enjoyed cruises, and a trip to Hawaii. And of course, he loved the Beatles!

Craig was an exceptionally talented artist of countless vibrant paintings and drawings. Several pieces of Craig‘s artwork were recently featured and auctioned for charity at the Thomas M. Wernert Center. Craig was very proud for the opportunity to have participated at the event.

Craig was looked up to by family and many friends. He left an impression on people and inspired many lives. He will be missed, but will forever live on in our hearts!

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, L. Byron and Bonnie B. (Wensinger) Pym. He is survived by his sister, Carol (Richard) Haar and brothers, Richard (Jodi Davis) Pym and Mark (Debbie) Pym; nieces, Andrea (Dan) Zawisza, Dianne (Greg) Twigger, Kristen (Rico) Ruiz, and Sara (Lucas Brandt) Pym; nephews, Joel (Nicki) Pym and Jonathan (Abbi) Pym.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Faith United Lutheran Church, 4543 Douglas Rd, Toledo, OH 43613 on Sunday, March 8, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm.
