Collette Holley

Collette Holley was born on December 3, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio to Joyce Marie and Cleo Holley.

After a long battle with illness, Collette gained her heavenly wings on April 20, 2023. She is reuniting in Heaven with parents Joyce & Cleo, brother Duane, Aunt & Uncle Betty & Ronald, Uncle Charles, cousin Sylvester, and a host of other family members and ancestors.

Collette attended Junction City High School in Kansas and graduated in 1976. She enjoyed indoor gardening, interior decorating, scented candles, perfumes, baking cakes, being an entrepreneur in her nail business, and being a top representative of Avon. She also enjoyed traveling and exploring movies, shows, and musical plays. Also extended her family to all of whom she mentored, and met people from all walks of life.

She gave her life to Christ and was baptized in 1989 at Friendship Baptist Church. She participated in many activities within the church such as the choir, Bible study, prayer warriors ministry, and a host of other events.

Her love of God was known in everything she did. Her unconditional loving heart, generosity, acceptance, laughter, and humbleness will live on in the hearts and minds of all she has blessed with her presence. Her favorite saying was "All I ask is that I want to see you in Heaven because I know I'm going"

Collette is survived by her Aunt Helen Perkins, and her children India (Xavier), Ashley, and Isiah Holley. Grandchildren Jeremiah, Jalyn, Paballo, and Kutloano Holley. And also her God-children Laihla Brown, and Brandon McClain, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She will be missed but never forgotten.
