Colleen "Norman" LaVoy

Colleen Kay “Norman” LaVoy, age 63, went to be with our Lord on January 24, 2026.

She was born May 21, 1962 in Monroe, Michigan to Samuella “Smith” Norman and Harvey Norman. She attended Monroe Public Schools, graduating in 1981. She worked in the restaurant business at multiple locations for 20 years until switching to the automotive industry. She worked her way up to be part of several different companies in Toledo Ohio, until she retired in 2024.

She loved swimming, traveling, and riding her motorcycle with the wind in her hair. But more than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, Sammy and Millie. She was devoted to her faith and in her final years, the community she found in church became a fundamental part of her daily life.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Greg LaVoy; her daughter, Megan Manor (Kevin); her son, Austin Manor (Keri); her two grandchildren, Samuel and Amelia Manor; her brother, Tim Norman; her sister, Cindy Riggs; and several nieces and nephews. Those preceding her in death were her parents, and her brothers, Matt and Pat Norman.

Per her request, there will not be a formal service. In place of a funeral, there will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, who were instrumental in making Colleen comfortable during her final days.
