Clarence A. Vermilyea

September 13, 1949 — March 21, 2024

Clarence "Chuck" Vermilyea was born in Toledo,Ohio on September 13, 1949 to Clarence R. and Joan (Stahl) Vermilyea.


Chuck was proud to serve his country in the US Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked for 33 years at Baron Steel.


He married the love of his life Sue, December 20, 2015 and they spent 22 amazing years together.


Chuck was very handy with home improvements, loved working in the yard and was an amazing wood worker.


Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve. He is survived by his wife, Sue; sisters, Peggy of Toledo, Patti (Chuck) of Stony Ridge, and Pennie of Indiana; children, Kevin (Jessica) Vermilyea of Mesa, AZ, Kathy (Greg) Glackin of San Tan Valley, AZ, Joseph (Alyssa) Vermilyea of Meza, Arizona, Jennie (Rich) Danyi, Glen (Dawn) Poling, Matt (Sheri) Poling, Shanna (Craig) Armitage, Melissa (Brad) Miller, Jim (Sarah) Poling; 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.


A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
