Christopher Brian Forille, age 50, passed away at the University of Toledo Medical Center on May 3, 2023.
Chris was born on January 6, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Joseph Forille and Maryjean (Rupert) Snell. He was a graduate of Start High School and attended Libbey High School for cabinetry courses. When Chris was younger, he looked up to his uncle who excelled at carpentry, which introduced a love for woodworking. After taking courses at Libbey, Chris continued his career in cabinet making and produced beautiful pieces, which were then distributed by larger corporations to sell in New York and other major cities. He was known to be a “Jack of all trades” and had a knack for taking whatever job presented itself.
Chris’s love for others was abundant and it showed in ways of service. He was always thinking of ways to help the people around him, whether that be a physical task or being a source of comfort and support during hard times. Chris volunteered his time with Helping Hands of Ohio for over 25 years. He enjoyed every second spent serving others in need.
When Chris had time for himself, he enjoyed riding his Harley, watching Monday night wrestling with his best friends, and periodically sipping on Blanton’s bourbon.
Chris is survived by his wife of 15 years, Aresha Forille; parents, Joseph (RoseAnn) Forille and Maryjean Snell; children, Jozsef, Hunter, Skylar, and Harley Forille; step-daughter, Cheyenne Dulaney; granddaughter, Bridget; siblings, Julie Rinaldi, Josephine Hill, Joyce Forille, and Jessica Thomas; step-brother, Jacob Sell; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left to cherish his memory are his best friends, Jimmy and Kelli Ryan, Randy Genson, Dan McKinny, and James.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A service for Chris has taken place. Please leave a memory of Chris or condolence for his family on the tribute wall.
