Christopher A. Arndt

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our son, Christopher Allen Arndt on June 22, 2026 at the age of 44.

Chris was born March 16, 1982 to Richard and Cynthia (Opfer) Arndt in Oregon, Ohio.

He was an autistic non-verbal young man who was so sweet and loved his toys, food, music, and being with his family.Chris was a resident at Luther Home of Mercy until his death, and attended day-hab at RVI in Oak Harbor.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Brian Arndt; aunts and uncles, Doug and Sandy Arndt, and Jan and Nora Opfer; and many cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rollin and Helen Arndt, and Arnold and Maurine Opfer; and uncle, Ronald Opfer.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Private burial will be at Elliston Cemetery.
