Obituary

Christian "Chris" M. Strassburg, age 35, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2026, suddenly, at St. Charles Mercy Health Hospital, in Oregon, Ohio.

He was born on September 5, 1990, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Anne Marie (Raymond) Prieur and Michael (Michelle) Strassburg. He moved to Florida as a teenager. After graduating from West Palmetto High School, Chris had many careers as a painter, sign builder, wrapping vehicles, and his own landscaping business. He was a Landscaper for Yellowstone Landscaping in Maumee, Ohio.

He got engaged to Samantha Binkley, in March of 2017 and together they shared 10 wonderful years together. He was a proud father and partner. He was known for always giving a helping hand,caring about others and being his goofy self.

Outside of work, he especially loved to cook, paint (Graffiti), skate and snowboarding, working on cars, wood burning, building and designing things, singing and dancing, outdoors, fishing with his grandpa Ted, sitting next to campfire, and spending time with his family.

He survived by his fiancée, Samantha Binkley; daughters, Isabella and Lily Strassburg; his parents, Michael (Michelle) Strassburg, and Anne Marie (Raymond) Prieur; stepfather, Ron Azzone; brothers, Brandon (Sarah) Strassburg, Cameron Strassburg, Griffin Strassburg, and Giovanni Azzone; grandmothers, Dottie (Mike) Clark, Lorraine Clavey, and step-grandmother, Joan Byrne; His in-laws, Scott (Trish) Drenner, Kenneth (Tammi) Binkley and many aunts and uncles, cousins, brother in laws and sister in laws, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his twins, Christian Michael Jr. and Chi Miracle Strassburg; the mother of his daughters, Joyce Drenner; grandfather, Harry "Ted" Clavey; step-grandfather, Dennis Byrne Sr.; and great-grandmother, Irene Woodcock.

A Private Memorial will be held at later date. Rather than flowers please consider contributions to his family and towardshis daughters' education.
