Charles B. "Bruce" Wallace

Charles Bruce Wallace, age 74, went home to the presence of the Lord, on June 20, 2024, following a prolonged illness. He spent his last days at Hospice of Northwest Ohio (Toledo) after a long hospitalization.

Bruce was born on March 21, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of Charles S. and Evelyn V. (Wade) Wallace. He grew up in Oregon, Ohio, where he graduated from Clay High School, in 1968. He loved being in the Lime-Lighters and was active in 4-H as a teenager. He later attended the University of Toledo and Ohio University, completing a degree in English. Most of Bruce's life was spent in the transportation industry, as he greatly enjoyed driving.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Heather (Dan) Russell and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, and there will be a memorial service at a time to be announced.
