Charles W. Samson

Charles W. Samson, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 30, 1937, to the late Charles and Kathryn (Jewel) Samson.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1966. From there, he worked at the Dana Corporation, Janney’s Hardware as the Service Manager where he earned many certifications and accreditations in his field; The American Power Distributors and Yankee Doodle Flag before retiring.

He enjoyed camping, going to the cottage at Bird Lake and spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his sons, Steven (Delores) Samson and Jeffery (Nikki) Samson; daughter, Cheryl (Kyle) Kisseberth; and grandchildren, Alicia, Emily, Cody, Garrett, and Noah; and great-grandchildren, Macey, Carley, and Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Samson; and brother, Ronald Samson.
