Charles F. Roberts, age 82, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on April 3, 2021. Fred was born in Toledo to Harold & Frances Roberts on December 17, 1938 and was a 1957 graduate of Anthony Wayne H.S. He attended Miami University and The University of Toledo before beginning a career at Jeep in Material Control & Procurement. His proudest professional accomplishments were being a part of “Team Viper” and working on electric vehicle prototypes before retiring from Chrysler in 2001. Fred was an avid hunter, having taken many trips out west, enjoyed fishing, deeply loved all things in nature and the outdoors, and was a dog lover; never very far from his four-legged pal, Sebastian. He also had a passion for history, especially American, Native and local, was a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved watching his beloved Cleveland Indians. Those who knew Fred as the extremely outgoing and personable man he was share many great memories, and will enjoy the legacy of decency and kindness he leaves behind. Fred is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lynne Roberts; loving children, Tammi Roberts of San Jose, CA, Troy (Beth) Roberts of Cincinnati, Alyssa Roberts (deceased), step-son Jonathan Sheskey of Fort Wayne IN, and daughter Tarissa Phillips; sisters, Harolyn (Edmund) Weber of Cincinnati and Bettae Kazmaier of Monclova; grandchildren, Shawn Townley, Kelsea, Emery and Ella Edmonds, and Cody and Tyler Sheskey; great-granddaughter, Evie Townley; nieces, Kelleigh (Tom) Leeds of Whitehouse and Kristan Pruitt of Waynesburg, OH; and nephew, Todd Kazmaier of Albany OR.
