Charles H. Hunt

Charles Herbert Hunt was born on September 25, 1925 to Herbert Hunt and Mary (Marie) Graham Hunt. Charles passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Charles married Meredith (Ives) Hunt in 1942. They had four children together, Charlene (Hunt) Nowakowski, Darlere (Hunt) Sturt, Charles Hunt Jr. and Thomas Hunt. Charles was employed at Toledo Edison First Energy. He worked at Acme Plant, Bayshore, and finally Davis Bessie before retiring. He served in the Navy in World War II. He loved to be outdoors in the sunshine. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He will be sadly missed. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, sister Florence Irene (Hunt) Shreve, wife Meredith and daughter Charlene. Surviving are his daughter Darlene, sons Charles Jr. and Thomas, five grandchildren and some great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
