Chad Everett Parritt

Chad Parritt, age 53, of Maumee, passed away at his residence, Saturday, January 13, 2024. Chad was born in Toledo, Ohio, December 19,1970 to Sandra (Robinson) and James Parritt.

Chad attended Anthony Wayne High School and earned his associate degree from Full Sail University in Florida, in RTVF production. Upon graduation, Chad worked at television stations in Florida, West Virginia, and Minnesota.

Later in life, Chad attended Cuyahoga Community College, earning an associate degree in Recording Arts Technology/Technician. While living in Cleveland, Chad worked as a Teaching Musician at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Chad returned to the Toledo area, and settled in Maumee. His hobbies included cooking and music, along with a love of animals. Most recently, Chad had his own music therapy Youtube channel. He was employed as an Assistant Manager at the Maumee Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Chad is survived by his father, James (Diane) Parritt of Florida; brothers, Michael (Valerie) Parritt of Perrysburg, Blake (Heidi) Parritt of Florida; nephew, Michael Parritt of Centerville; niece, Kassandra Parritt of Illinois; and special friend, Tracy Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Robinson; and brother, Jeffrey Scott Parritt.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Donations in Chad’s memory may be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
