Carrie (Moreland) Gray of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on October 25th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 52 years old. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and mother, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of her family and friends.

Carrie attended Woodward Highschool and enjoyed making crafts in her spare time. In her spare time, she could always be found making something for someone just because she thought of them that day, her favorite thing to make being needlepoint art. She also loved animals; especially cats, as she regularly fed the neighborhood colony and affectionately named each one. Carrie's legacy is extended through her granddaughter, Taylor, who was a source of immense joy and pride in her life.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 24 years, John Gray Jr.; beloved children, Desiree (Dylan Kerekes) Moreland, Justin (Jessica Bertram) Gray, Makayla Gray, and Stephanie (Loya Bertram, Jr.) Gray; granddaughter, Taylor Gray; her loving parents, Jerry and Pamela Moreland; brother, Jerry Moreland II; sisters-in-law, Tracy Schoettle and Shelly Miller. She is also survived by a grandson expected to be born in January 2024, as well as many more family and friends who shared a deep and enduring bond with her.

Carrie's warm smile, kindness, and one-of-a-kind love touched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her resilience in the face of adversity, her love for her family, and her unwavering spirit. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
