Carol Louise Hansen

Carol Louise Hansen, of Toledo, passed away on Nov 19, 2022 at Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Sylvania. She was a lifelong resident of Toledo. She was born on November 27, 1933 to Herman and Ella Helene (Oehus) Hansen. She was predeceased in death by her sisters, Evelyn and Marilyn.

Carol was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church. She enjoyed swimming and spending time at Lake Erie. She was a fan of Science-Fiction stories and Star Trek. Carol was always ready to laugh and had a positive energy that made everyone around her happy.

She is survived by several nephews and nieces; Hugh (Louise) Meyers, Mary (Bob) Semus, Bob (Denise) Heckler, Buzz Meyers, Connie (Tom) Howell, and Jane (Ryan) Brown, several great and great - great nephews and nieces, and her boyfriend and caregiver, Lee McBride.

There will be a graveside service in the Spring, at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Her family would like to thank the staff at MedBridge, Hospice and Lee for the care given to Carol.
