Carol S. Green

Carol Sue (Helmbrecht) Green passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was 70 years old.

Carol was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 29, 1954 to William L. Helmbrecht and Geraldine M. (Inman) Helmbrecht.

On October 28, 1978 she was married at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio to Ken Green.

Carol attended Beverly Elementary School on Rugby Drive; and was graduated from E. L. Bowsher High School in 1972. She also took a few courses at the University of Toledo.

While Carol worked about 50 years total at various jobs, she was especially proud of her job on the switchboard at Johns-Manville at the corporate office on Dutch Road in Waterville (13 years), and her 32 years as deputy clerk at the Juvenile Justice Center in Toledo. She finally retired in 2020.

Carol loved shopping, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs and cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband of 46 years and numerous cousins.

There will be no funeral services; and no memorial services are planned. In lieu of donations, please adopt a dog or cat and give them a loving home.
