Carol L. (Carsten) Dupuis passed away on January 11, 2021, in the arms of her sister, Vicki Gilbert. She fought her second courageous battle with cancer. First time was in May 1996 with breast cancer. Her second cancer battle began in April 2020, bladder cancer, which had also invaded her bones which took her life. Carol loved the outdoors. Camping with family, hanging out on the farm, swimming, and fishing were amongst her favorite past times. She also was a talented calligrapher, excellent at crocheting, and scrapbooking. She loved to bake and decorate cookies and cakes. She had a generous spirit and always gave of herself to friends and family. Carol supported a number of causes including Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Judes Hospital, Salvation Army and many more. Surviving are her three daughters: Kimberly Jenkins, Sonya Carsten, and Candace Decker, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Donald (Cindy) Carsten, and sister Vicki (Bill) Gilbert. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Donna Carsten, stepmother Judith Carsten, and brother Dale Carsten. A celebration of life will be held on April 11, 2021 at the River Pointe United Methodist Church, 2862 – 131st St, Toledo, OH at 2:00 pm. Internment will be private.
